How to book

How you book depends on what you need. Each card opens the service page, where you can see prices and book online.

Deposits for weddings and shoots

$300Booking deposit

Weddings and fashion and commercial shoots are reserved with a $300 deposit, which is applied to your total. The deposit is fully refundable within 7 days of payment, and non-refundable after that.

Rescheduling and cancellations

For headshot and family sessions:

  • Cancel up to 48 hours before your session for a full refund. After that, the session is non-refundable.
  • Reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your session.
  • Rain. If it rains on the day of an outdoor family session, we reschedule at no charge.

Passport photo retake guarantee

Rejected? We retake it free.

We photograph to each country's official size and rules, and we are strict in the studio so your photo is accepted the first time. If your passport or visa photo is ever rejected, bring us the rejection notice and we will retake your photo free of charge.

Albums

Albums are made to order for you. Once we have received your photos and started your design, an album cannot be cancelled or refunded.

  • In the studio. Cash and card.
  • Online. Card, through our secure checkout.

Questions, answered

Do I need an appointment for a passport photo?

No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We do recommend booking ahead, so we are ready for you the moment you arrive.

How do I cancel or reschedule a session?

Call us at 212-753-4671 or email info@thispix.com. Headshot and family sessions can be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before, and rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before.

Is the wedding or shoot deposit refundable?

Yes, in full within 7 days of payment. After 7 days the $300 deposit is non-refundable. It is applied to your total, so it is not an extra charge.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor family session?

We reschedule your session at no charge.

What if my passport photo is rejected?

Bring us the rejection notice and we will retake your photo free of charge.

Can I cancel an album order?

Albums are made to order. Once we have received your photos and started your design, an album cannot be cancelled or refunded.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and card in the studio, and card through our secure online checkout.
