Our story

ThisPix is a photography studio and a lab, located in Midtown Manhattan since 1986. We began by serving New York as a photo lab, and today we offer high quality lab work alongside professional photography: passport and visa photos, headshots, family portraits, weddings, and fashion and commercial work.

Our owners, Sunny and Jeff, both studied photography in college and have spent their careers in the photography industry. That experience is what lets us deliver the highest quality work at reasonable rates.

Trusted by consulates

Since 1986 we have photographed to the size and regulations of consulates around the world. ThisPix is recommended by the Canadian consulate and is the only studio in the NYC area recommended by the Netherlands consulate, which trained us on its photo regulations. We have received letters of appreciation from consulates for our work.
